Leslie L. Couper, CFP®, Senior Vice President and Investment Division Manager of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is also an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA, a Registered Investment Adviser. Leslie brings to the financial field a determination to help people pursue their financial goals and objectives and a desire to make it an educational process. She graduated from Bates College summa cum laude with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. Prior to pursuing a career in the financial industry, she was a research associate in the Vascular Biology department at Maine Medical Center Research Institute. Her desire to help people, combined with an interest in finances and enthusiasm for teaching, led her down the path of financial planning and attaining the Certified Financial Planner™ professional certification.
Leslie specializes in providing financial guidance and planning services, including estate, retirement, college, and general investment planning, for individual clients and small business owners. She and her family reside in Falmouth, Maine. Her hobbies include running (finished her third marathon in June 2005), basketball, hiking, and gardening. J. Blair Sanders, First Vice President and financial professional of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA, a Registered Investment Adviser. Blair received his business administration degree in Finance from Texas Tech University in 1979. Since that time, he has been continually employed in the financial services industry. His specialties include financial, estate, and retirement planning, as well as portfolio management and asset allocation. As an investment consultant, Blair enjoys the challenge of creating financial plans for his varied clientele. He continues to find the energy and excitement of the stock market to be his greatest obsession.

Kevin P. Carbin, Jr., CFP® and Vice President of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA, a Registered Investment Adviser. Kevin has been in the financial services field since 1986. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BS in Economics and has done graduate studies at American College, where he attained the Certified Financial Planner™ professional certification.
Prior to joining Northeast Financial in 1994, Kevin owned New England Planning Associates, a financial and estate planning firm. His areas of specialty include helping retirees, and those soon to retire, with their estate, long-term care, and investment planning needs, as well as helping business owners maximize benefits for themselves, their families, and their key employees.
He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Maine Estate Planning Council, and Maine Planned Giving Council, and is also a board member of The National Kidney Foundation of Maine. Kevin resides in Scarborough, Maine, with his wife, Maura, and daughters, Molly and Maggie. He is a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club's Four Thousand Footers Club having climbed all of the 60 peaks in New Hampshire and Maine that are taller than four thousand feet. Richard W. Preston, CLTC, Vice President and financial professional of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA, a Registered Investment Adviser and has achieved the CLTC Designation, Certified in Long-Term Care. Dick entered the financial services industry in 1992 after owning his own business for 13 years. Prior to joining Northeast Financial, he was a registered investment representative for Financial Benefit Services, serving as director of College Financial Planning and director of Business Development.
Dick's specialties include business planning and estate analysis. He also offers financial consultations — such as retirement planning, including insurance, and investment analysis — to his clients, and has a clearly defined specialty in college planning. In 1996, he co-authored a nationally marketed book entitled, Intuition, which was designed to assist families in the college financial aid process. Dick and his wife currently reside in Hope, Maine. Normand D. Poulin, Vice President and financial professional of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is a registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA. He graduated with high honors from the University of Maine with a bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences and entered the financial services industry in 1994. Prior to joining Northeast Financial, Norm conducted investment consultations for estate, retirement, and tax planning for four years with Financial Benefits Services, Inc.
Norm now specializes in designing strategies that provide guidance to his personal and corporate clients with effective ways to pursue wealth, minimize risk, minimize taxes, and protect their estates. Dwight E. Pendexter, LUTCF, Vice President and financial professional of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is a Registered Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1984. He studied Business Administration at the University of Maine, is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable (9 years), and has also qualified for Top of the Table, President's Club, and Century Club. Dwight was moderator for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers of Maine for 18 years and is a board member of the Maine State Music Theater. He specializes in employee benefits, including key executive benefit programs, as well as insurance, investments, and retirement planning.
Prior to joining Northeast Financial, Dwight was an Investment Adviser Representative and Managing Principal for 13 years with Financial Benefits Services. Dwight and his wife currently reside in Scarborough, Maine. His interest include spots, music, travel and theater. Christian P. Bishop, CFP®, EA and Vice President of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA, a Registered Investment Adviser. Prior to joining Northeast Financial in 2002, Christian was employed as a Registered Representative and financial adviser with SunAmerica Securities. He was also the chief financial officer of a large nonprofit organization for two years and a benefits specialist for three years with the same organization. He entered the financial services industry in 1993 as a tax accountant with the opening of his tax practice and continues to hold the Enrolled Agent designation. He has also attained the certification of Certified Financial Planner™ professional. His tax expertise enables Christian to provide unique planning strategies to pursue the financial needs of his clients. Specialties include tax planning, retirement planning, and company benefit planning.

Jeannine Tardif, Vice President and financial professional of Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is a Registered Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA. Jeannine's experience includes over 30 years in the financial and brokerage industry. Prior to joining the Northeast Financial Services team, Jeannine owned and operated the Auburn, Maine, branch of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., for 15 years. Her specialties include individual stock and bond purchases, tax-free investment vehicles, and individual retirement planning. She prides herself on the financial guidance and services she is able to provide her varied clientele.

Kevin J. Nainiger, Vice President and financial professional with Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is a Registered Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA. Kevin has been in the financial services industry since 1993 and joined Northeast Financial Services in 2006. Before joining Northeast Financial, he was vice president/Financial Advisor with JP Morgan Chase. For 9 years prior to that he owned and operated his own financial advisory and tax planning and preparation firm in the Auburn area. Kevin is focused on providing his clients with sound financial guidance and tax planning guidance. After a thorough review of their financial resources, goals and priorities, he partners with them to develop both short- and long-term strategies that may best meet their financial needs.

Timothy B. Vander Mel, Financial Consultant with Northeast Financial Services, a division of Northeast Bank, is an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA, a Registered Investment Adviser. Tim has been a financial consultant since 2004. Prior to joining Northeast Financial in 2007, Tim worked for one of the major wirehouses. His focus is on developing strategic wealth management plans, and guidance for individuals planning for retirement.
Tim and his family reside in Falmouth Maine. Tim can be found most weekends during the summer months sailing on Penobscot Bay with friends and family. Other interests include running, downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and riding his motorcycle. He also volunteers his time serving on the Falmouth Trails Advisory Committee for the Town of Falmouth, and each month he and his wife volunteer at the Preble Street Resource Center.
