AUBURN, Maine, June 27, 2024 – Northeast Bank (the “Bank”) (NASDAQ:  NBN), celebrated the grand opening of its new location at 836 Center Street with a ribbon cutting and community event on Wednesday, June 26. The newly renovated banking center is 1.4 miles from the Bank’s previous Center Street location and opened for business on Monday, June 10.

The Bank’s leadership team was joined by Auburn Mayor Jeffrey Harmon, Shanna Cox, President and CEO of the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Auburn City Councilors Rick Whiting, Auburn City Manager Phil Crowell, Karen Staples, Constituent Representative for Senator Susan Collins and State Representative Adam Lee for the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

I think this is a testament to our commitment to Maine and the communities in which we operate with this new banking center,” said Rick Wayne, President and CEO of the Bank. “We look forward to continuing our growth in the Lewiston / Auburn region and across Maine.”

Following the ceremony, over three hundred community members enjoyed lunch featuring local food trucks Pinky D’s, L/A Taco and Cruzin’ Slice.

The stand-alone banking center renovation was managed by NES Group of Mansfield, MA with construction led by Auburn-based H.E. Callahan Construction Co.
